@@balder-ssbu4512 well actually that’s not at all a good comparison considering Bayonetta has always been very story-focused. There’s like over an hour of cutscenes in each game lool. Why should I just pretend that aspect isn’t present??

They're childish people who criticize even though they've never even played the game in the first place. I hope they don't get offended and just keep making awesome videos.

Thank you for your kind words!! I love this videogame a lot and it really bothers me that they throw a lot of shit at it. They complain about the story as if the saga depended on it xdxd I mean, people don't play Mario Bros for its amazing story, Bayonetta is the same.

Obviously, a story is a necessary element to some extent, but stylish action, including Bayonetta, is a play-centered genre. I don't know why I suddenly became interested in the story. Especially if you know the origins of stylish action, you can never say that the story is important. The concept that Hideki Kamiya had when creating Devil May Cry 1 was “I want to transfer the perpendicular action of 2D belt scrolling to a 3D game,” and that was the beginning of stylish action. From the beginning of the genre, the focus was on play, and the story was not that important of a factor. If the reason they focus on the story is because of Nier Automata, it's a story narrative game that borrows stylish action. I'm not disparaging the fun of that game, but regardless of the quality of the story, the combat part of that game has shallow depth compared to other stylish action games. Anyway, to conclude, stylish action is a genre that prioritizes gameplay, not story. The same goes for Devil May Cry and Bayonetta. If you see strange comments saying that "Bayo 3 is the worst because the story is a mess or that it ruined the franchise", they either haven't played it or have a misunderstanding of the stylish action genre. And aside from other things, it's rude to leave a comment saying "Bayo 3 is a mess" while others are enjoying it. Anyway, don't worry about that and just keep enjoying Bayo 3.

When demon slave offsetting, are you holding the punch button for bayo while queueing demon slave kicks? Do you also need to masquerade in order to offset your bayo combo initially, and then you gain access to demon slave offset (after dodging to cancel masquerade movement). I’ve been trying to hone this mechanic, but I can only easily do it while using LIB, SF, and most of the time CMW.

No, This Off-Set doesn't work like the Off-Set that everyone Knows. You must press and hold ZL during Bayo's attack animation and then release the hold hit button from Bayonetta It doesn't just work with Mascarade animations, it can work on any animation in any combo. Dodging isn't necessary, I do it out of habit to classic Off-Set, the important thing is to press ZL during a Bayonetta attack animation. Me too, I don't know why but with CMW, SF and LiB it's easier to execute Demon Slave Off-Set anyway xd here are the steps. 1. Start a combo. 2. Press and hold summon ZL during Bayo's attack animation. (release the hold hit button from Bayonetta. This Off-Set doesn't work like the Off-Set that everyone knows) 3. Do whatever you want with the Demon. 4. Release ZL and immediately press the next desired punch/kick of bayo combo (timing is tight... Very very tight). Point 4 is the key and most important step.
