Unfortunately, Jeanne is playable in certain parts of Bayonetta 3. You don't really get to see much of her so I decided to do a head on comparison between her and Bayonetta.

The way Jeanne's end pose of a combo starts as her unique pose, tries to go into the old Bayo pose with the guns at the side, then goes into the new one on the hip. Seems kinda lazy rather than give her a unique stance.

They preffer to kill her intead and add a toned down, silly bayonetta in the place of the original one and expect us to bite the bait for Bayonetta 4 with a Female Luka that is not nearly as confident and interesting as the original character. I blame Kamiya. The guy clearly didn't want to do Bayonetta 3, he wanted to do something else entirely, and Bayonetta 3 is the ground work for wathever he think is his next stage on the series or wathever. It's such a shame since you can see how much love was put in certain parts of the game.

She is. Her attacks are 1.5x more powerful than Bayonetta but she takes 1.5x more damage than her. She can only activate it Witch Time with Moth within. She has infinite dodging.

I agree, but with all the work already put into the game... I'm not surprised. Although... It doesn't really make sense lore-wise how her demons are literal color-pallate swaps of Bayo's demons... I get why it is so mechanics-wise... But it's been a dent in the series' lore (which is an important part of it all, seeing how much care is put into all the notes and descriptions, especially in the first game) ever since Bayo 2. I do agree it would've been awesome for Jeanne to actually have her own Demon Slaves as well. There are demons in the first game who never reappeared like Scolopendra and Hekatoncheir who could be her kit of three, alongside Styx.

Demon Masquerade is my absolute favorite mechanic. Seeing them transform in each combo is just so…UGH! Idk why it wasn’t there for the first two games, but I’m sure as hell glad they came up with it for this one

Here's the thing - I didn't expect Jeanne to have an original moveset, okay ? Platinum already did a *SHITTON* of work on all the insane moves of both playable characters and Demon Slaves... I even understand why she is not playable in the story missions, seeing how most of in-game cutscenes use the actual in-game model of Bayonetta + her voicelines coming out of Jeanne wouldn't make ANY sense... But... killing her the way she was killed... *I can't fucking believe Kamiya wrote that.* Like... Jeanne. We're talking an utterly crazy bitch from Bayo 1. The Vergil/Vorkken of the Bayonetta series... Killed by a backstab ? No. Nonono. I can't believe Kamiya actually wrote that. I'm even fine with Luka SUDDENLY being an actual real romantic interest for her, alright, whatever - Viola has to exist somehow and share her father's lovable dorkiness + you have to raise the story stakes by eliminating a insanely powerful deuteragonist character from the story... *But a fucking backstab ?* Come on... This is not Kamiya. This is not the guy who wrote the line "I feel like a fucking celebrity in this town.", I don't believe that. He's way too smart for this kind of lazy writing. He wrote The Wonderful 101.

I can discard any feelings about any character I hold in high regard in a snap. They are fictional, whatever, I can be utterly cold like that. *But my time wasted on a story that doesn't make consistent sense - no, I can't forgive that. Time is the only currency I've got in life and even I don't know what my balance is looking like on that time bank account.*

The way that bayonetta had a whole claw in her torso but survived and Jeanne didn’t made me roll my eyes so hard. Like they’re meant to be equals and above that she can react to bullets and dive them with ease even when shit at basically point blanc so how she didn’t dodge the sword idek. And then her body just fades away at the end for absolutely no reason like she wasn’t even killed and she apparently doesn’t need air since she can survive in space

The little details like butterflies particles during flying/drifting, Jeanne’s should’ve been white like we see during her walking animation. Or better yet, make it match her actual in game colour which is pink with a hint of yellow/white 😶 It’s like they can’t even be bother to keep the consistency even, even through it’s literally same the models with different colour palette 😔 In an ideal world, Jeanne/Madama Styx model would have moth wings as shown in their winked weaves (bayo 1&2) although I will give them points for the chosen colours for Jeanne Masquerade forms. The hot pink/yellow wings with white is simply tasteful ✨

So this may be an unpopular opinion but Jeanne met her peak in Bayo1. Her design and everything was phenomenal. She looks really childish in this game but it’s okay we still love her :)

Models change depending on wether you play it on docked mode or portable mode. So if you are playing portable you will mostly see lower poly models and resolution downgrade. Also depending on how much stuff appears on screen resolution will still suffer change for the worst

Side missions, Remnant chapters gained by collecting tears of blood from the animals, witch trials, fight with Rodin. She can't be played in the main story.

It’s just bothers me how lazy this is, I might be in the minority but CWM move set are so clunky and idk bad? I was so excited to play as Jeanne because I knew I’ll be going back to the All4One/Scarborough fair move set the felt very satisfying and cohesive, so color me shocked when i tried Jeanne and she had the clunky boring move sets of CWM, it’s just so annoying it’s like the game doesn’t even want you to have fun the least bit, likes it’s really not that hard the All4One animations and codes are literally right there just copy and paste them lol

Estoy muy de acuerdo, pero no actuemos como que no paso lo mismo con Jeanne en las anteriores entregas, siempre usaba el mismo moveset del 1 y sus armas eran recolors de las de Bayonetta con los mismos ataques, nunca tuvo nada unico aparte de que fuese mas dificil activar el Tiempo Brujo, que durara un poco mas, poder esquivar infinitamente e inflingir y recibir mas daño, fuera de eso siempre fue copy pasteada, hay muchas otras cosas de las que deberiamos quejarnos antes que esto lol

@@stressedwes9565 Es basicamente lo que comente xd, Jeanne siempre ha sido copiada y pegada de Bayonetta, nunca me parecio un problema honestamente ya que su gameplay tiene (por mas diminutas que sean) diferencias con respeto a Bayoentta, es como un bonus y ya, a lo que me referia es a que creo que las quejas deberian centrarse en otras cosas como la pesima historia y desarrollo de personajes, que es por mucho la peor de toda la saga, y no, no es por BayoLuka, que al parecer todos cuando se critica la historia del juego se escudan diciendo que solo es por el ship pero es el menor de los muchos problemas de la trama, simplemente no debieron haber intentado hacer una trama tan compleja cuando claramente no tenian ni la menor idea de que hacer con ella, y es gracioso que Kamiya nos culpe a nosotros diciendo que no "entendimos" el final, no es como que nunca dio explicacion alguna de absolutamente nada como para que pudieramos enteder ese desastre, pero bueno, alla el, ya el mismo nos confirmo que el proximo juego vamos a pensar que son cosas que se le ocurrieron despues de sacar Bayonetta 3 para arreglar la trama mal hecha, asi que por buen camino no vamos xd

@@AlmondMilkLake i mean, personalmente no me interesa mucho los problemas de la trama porque en este punto ya deberíamos saber que bayonetta es camp y nunca se ha tomado en serio a si misma como franquicia. en mi opinión, bayoluka si es la peor parte de la historia, sin embargo, lo habría aceptado si el romance fuera central el la historia y no algo que ocurre en los últimos dos capítulos. realmente bayonetta 3 si es la mejor entrega de toda la saga si ignoramos completamente el final

Veo a mucha gente quejándose de esta tercera entrega, literal, vas a cualquier vídeo en relación a Bayonetta 3 y te encontrarás a alguien quejándose. Y yo no estoy diciendo que el juego sea la 8va maravilla del mundo o que el juego es perfecto, pero es que lo hacen ver como una cosa terrible, solo por uno o dos aspectos en el cual el juego falla, desameritando cosas buenas como el Gameplay, música, libertad, exploración, puzzles, etc.
