The first game certain has an elegance and a sort of regal feel to the the other 2 games just completely fail to achieve. Don't get me wrong she is still elegant in the other games, the the situations, environments, dialogues are Just straight up lame.

No official connection, but Bayonetta has plenty of "easter eggs" and innuendos to other games such as Resident Evil 4 (Rodin sometimes says "what are you buying, huh heared that in a video game"). However, if you are refering to the "Humpty Dumpty", that´s just Enzo relating to Rodin :)
