This song is genuinely a masterpiece. The fast-paced beat and the seductive singing completely contradict the underlying sadness of the lyrics, because that's what it's about. Bayonetta is putting a smile on her face despite feeling lonely. She thinks she works best alone, but Cereza, Luka and Jeanne give her the strength to truly inherit the left eye. It's a coming-of-age story about someone with immense amounts of physical and mental power, a lonely witch who puts on a brave face and taunts everyone she meets. The only reason they're 'evil' is because they get in the way of our goal and try to kill Bayonetta (The player). They still protect people and deliver them to heaven ( I mean what else do you think the Enzo is talking about at the beginning), and they still fight off demons and those with wicked hearts. We the player are only forced kill them because Bayonetta is forced to kill them to continue living as an umbra witch lest her soul be wrenched from her body and dragged straight to hell. By your own logic,the Demons will kill in Bayo 2 are only the bad demons. Finally it's literally just a game. Killing nonsensical angel enemies shouldn't really offend anyone,but that is my own opinion.

She started off carefree and nonchalant but once Luka and Cereza became very important to her, she took everything more seriously. (At the time she didn’t know that Jeanne was her best friend)
