Nope. Marc Jacobs has been pulling from the 80s...since the 80s lol...& he understands that reaching back to the 80s is all about editing--carefully choose the best & lose the rest. Tom Ford has opted to lift wholesale here, & it lands flat. Unfortunate, because his S/S 2022 collection was brilliant, a real masterpiece in 80s redux.

Yes, very 80s and all. To me it felt almost like Tom Ford's REBOOT tribute to his collections at Gucci and YSL. A bit of this and a bit of that all thrown together - less "sharp" and "cutting" and a bit incoherent. Even Tom himself looked a bit "round-er", the overall feel & aura still there but lacking the sharpness that he used to cut. Just saying what I have observed....
