I used to be so obsessed with bayside got a signed poster picture with them all I listened to. This is the last album I got. And I moved on for a few years but this song is so perfect and I just engendered and I'm soo happy. I love the older albums but this is definitely one of my favorite songs. Just perfect

I'd agree that Shudder is probably their most complete album, but I LOVE Cult, Masterpiece STILL has 2 of my top 5 Basyide tracks of all time, and I'm sorry, but The Walking Wounded is my favorite album of theirs. That being said: Boy, Roshambo, No One Understands, What and What Not....I could name more than half the tracks on Shudder before I get to one that's just mediocre. :) Bayside is a cult bro, the only way out is death! :D

I feel like, the title implies, that giving up hope, you sink further into despair? Whaaaat? I disagree. I think the singing is perfection on this song. It's emotion. You can hear it in his voice. Like his voice crack at the beginning is done on purpose to show emotion that connects with the lyrics that he's speaking. It reminds me of the way Rivers from Weezer sings sometimes, this song gives me a Weezer vibe overall & I love it. But to each his own, I can see how you say it's not his best vocals ever.

Zachacki Sack You GET Bayside. There is no other way to say it. They aren't a studio band, they aren't 'vocalists', they sing and play straight from the hearts they wear on their sleeve. And seriously, if you're going to pick vocalists apart for being 'off key'...go find me an artist who is both: 1. On key 2. Uses ZERO editing to make them be on key And I will show you a liar. Bayside takes it to the other extreme. They don't give you perfect, or ideal, or the 'industry standard'. They give you real, raw emotion that can't be captured with perfect pitch or Autotune.
