I’ve been listening to you guys since 2011, and I think I picked up shudder in 2012 or 2013. Boy is definitely my favorite Bayside song. Haunting lyrics, smashing guitar riffs. Keep up the great work all of you guys! Also it’s so awesome to see how cool Jack is in these videos. In 2017 I got to sit in their bus and have a guitar lesson from him- which is still my only official lesson in 17 years of playing. Then a few months later I saw them in Vegas and got to chug a beer with him! Class act all around.

Thanks for posting this man! I’ve decided that 2023 is a year that I wanna take my guitar journey very seriously and a video like this is really helpful to me. I’m a huge Bayside fan since 04. I drove out to in a snowstorm the first time I ever saw you guys live and I remember the rest of my life. I decided I wanna go through The Bayside catalog and teach myself as many songs as I can. I’d love to see more videos like this! It’s really helpful to watch you play and I love hearing the stories about how the songs came to be. The first time I saw you guys was at the Worcester palladium after the van accident and you and Anthony did an acoustic set and it really took my love for you guys to another level! Thank you for being part of the soundtrack of my youth even up until now. Happy new year Jack!

Shudder is still to the day my favourite Bayside album, I can still remember clearly going out buying on its release day and blasting it in my car. Once I heard I can't go on I had that song on repeat the sound of the guitars on that really stood out must have been the dotted eight delay. Your a legend Jack!

HAPPY 14TH BDAY SHUDDER! I remember blasting this album on repeat after skipping my AM college class to go get it the day it came out lol. It's still such an amazing album that I listen to in full, no skips! Seeing Jack wearing a Thin Lizzy hoodie is wild, I got 2 Bayside tattoos as my first ink + got 2 Thin Lizzy tattoos a few years later - 2 of my top favorite bands! Thanks Bayside + Jack for this playthrough gem, feel free to bless us with more I will watch every second.

Every time I listen to Shudder I am transported back in time to driving around in my first car in the fall of '08. Preordered it and it came in the mail like 2 or 3 days before the release. It was the first album I put in my first car, and it stayed there for about 2-3 months always playing over and over. Such a great album.
