Under the directorship of the great Charles Forque, Baytown Lee was once a stalwart of marching band. Forque had his own marching band style and took this with him, when he went to Plano HS. I was at the SHSU marching contest, the day Plano totally dominated, but Forque suffered a heart attack. I was assistant director for Tomball HS. Plano was amazing...their opener was Silverado.
