The reason why this season flopped is simply bad writing. All the characters which were more or less developed in season 1 are not only not being further developed but simply reduced to some plastic action figures. As if they had put a 13 year old in charge for the story writing.

The fact is Baywatching Nights was David Hasslehoff’s pet project. Both the producers, and the writers had no interest in making this series work, and it showed in the writing.
