I wanted to say that when he says “after Audhu billahi minashayteen nerajeem” he is not saying that the verse in that he is about to say has the phrase rather he is first seeking refuge in Allah from the shaytaan and then reciting the verse. I just wanted to clarify for someone who might have not understood :)

There was a time I could read much better the holy Quran. Do you think it would be the same if I read it in another language just to understand it better ? I still read every friday but just the little Surahs the other ones are to hard to read and Im afraid to read it wrong and I´m not arab, I don't even know the meaning if I say a word wrong and it changes its meaning...

Dear Linda, No one in the world except Prophet Muhammad (PBH) is perfect. No one becomes proficient in reading Quraan overnight. All that is important is your sincere efforts. Just to let you know that I am a late starter in Quranic grammar. But one thing I am sure of , is the rahmha and barakah of Allah in my pursuits. Also I know for sure that even a stone gets scar from little drops of water if it falls regularly. Maa sha Allah! Very informative akai. But, who is Gaad? Is dat one of the 99 names of Allah ta'ala? Did any the prophets and messengers of the most Graceous used this word to describe Him? I once ask one of my Egyptian Coptic Christian colleague about this word Gaad which I thought was mentioned in their holy books and to my surprise he never heard about it. They refer to the Almighty creator of the heavens and earth as ALLAH. If my name is Yassin, what do you call me in your language? So where do us Muslims get dis word Gaad from? Hope you can throw some light on this my brother.🤔

My dear brother, You indeed are very correct, it is as you said, i didn't get anything from this speech... i spent half hour in the Ramadan listening to this speech and yet i don't feel like i get anything it felt like a half hour of my short time in Dunya that i could never get back, wasted... what upset me most was that i didn't get what the whole "Pact with Allah" that brother Oduro put in the title first brother Abdullah Oduro spoke about Bid'ah, then about ramadhan and fasting, then he was talking about the pillar of islam, then he went about understanding the Qur'an, Imam Syafi'ie Khatam Qur'an twice a day... then if can't finish the Qur'an twice a day you should at least ponder an ayat, especially during Ramadan... So PLEASE!, PLEASE!!, PLEASE!!! with a cherry on top, tell me about this "pact" with Allah already, O' Shaykh what's the "pact" you are talking about??, the daleel behind your claim, the context of the daleel give us an in depth prespective of your theme, the cleverness of the arabic wording (all the things Ustadz Nouman would do) Brother Abdisemed Mohamed you said "John Doe you didn't get anything how can you criticize this powerFul speech" Well to that i say, it is because i didn't get anything that i criticize this so called powerFul speech Wallahi I support and love what Uztad Nouman and Bayyinah institute has done and achieved and with the best intention i give my unworthy opinion and hopefully constructive criticism Allah Knows Best
