Wallahu ghafoorun raheemun . 4: pointers + no Al 5: A break in chain Mudaf is chained to mudaf ilaihi Hoj is chained to jar Mowsoof is chained to sifah Ism ishara is chained to musharun ilaihi If there is a break in these chains then there is " is". Tasmia is a fragment .

هذا بيتٌ VS هذا البيت “This (is) a House.” vs “This (The) House…” It seems of the main reasons for using AL is to show it is Proper/Specific. But If you say “This”/هذا you are already showing it is specific because you’re pointing at it (👉 🏠). There is no longer a need to use AL. You could simply say هذا بيتٌ and it would translate to a complete sentence of “This = House.” or This is a House. Why the AL in “هذا البيت” makes it not a full sentence: If we translate it to English literally, it would say “This (the) House…”. Why is there an extra AL if there doesn’t need to be? It’s like showing extra specific-ness. There’s a reason why it’s extra specific, so more details are going to come to justify it. 1. You already recognize what house you’re talking about, since you are pointing at a specific house, so the “AL” is extra 2. It is a sentence fragment because the point of the sentence is not only that it is a house, so more details have to come. Hopefully this is correct and makes sense. The “AL means no The” and “No AL means The” when it came to the pointers confused me for a bit but this was the conclusion I came to. I learned some arabic before, so this is like a refresher but I have to say that I disagree with ustad nouman ali khan's translation of "Allahu Akbar" not that it is wrong, as he is an arabic expert but rather I would go with the translation "Allah is the greatest" as comparative degree sentence would require min Then "Allahu akbaru min kulli shay" Allah is greater than all things but he is of the opinion that it is an open ended sentence meaning "Allah is greater ..." all about interpretation but would not agree that one of these 2 is right and the other is wrong, but both make sense and there is goodness in both translations.
