You can eat cempedak seed if you boil a little bit..its very soft and delicious 👍🏻 Mandatory food to buy when going to the Ramadhan bazaar such as roti john, murtabak and nasi kerabu..🫶🏻

​@@joe_Malaysiayup there's a confusion between the 2 fruits, Cempedak doesn't really have an english name for them but some people called it Chempedak. While Jack fruit is similar to Cempedak but the malay words for jackfruit is Nangka. The difference is mostly sizes/taste and shapes.

I may be wrong but how come there doesn't seem to be any kerabu in your nasi kerabu? There should be some shredded vegetables in there. Maybe the vendor ran out of the vegetables and just sold you the rice??
