The name qasai gali literally translates to the alley of butchers, and for good reason. This alley is ancient and rich with history: initially, before and after some time of the partition, this qasai gali had a range of butchers and meat sellers throughout, while on the top floor of these shops were small apartments called chaubaras that were the training grounds for singers and exotic dancers. Fast forward to the modern-day, the qasai gali is a place where you can buy all sorts of crockery, serving, and cooking dishes ranging from a number of materials made including granite, stainless steel, and much more. Sit back and relax as the video team of BazaarGhar takes you on a journey through the heart of the oldest bazaar of Rawalpindi, straight to the bartan central of raja bazaar: qasai gali.
