Noor sahib, by your logic, no one will sing Galib again? Every song of Mehdi Hassan was based on hindustani raag, he himself admitted. Raag were composed 3 thousand years ago by our bujurgs. So is Mehdi Hasan an average singer? Respect music and sur. The fact is that Prthvi's rendition are many a times better than so-called "bujurgs". See the depth of Prthvi's singing and try to sing yourself, and you will find how hard it is to sing like him. He embodies Mehdi Hassan's idea of music.
