Did you get the 335?
@christianboddum87832 жыл бұрын
@@josbruls Hi, yes I did! I went for a Maybach capitol 59 cherry, I custom ordered it with a side mount jack. I had tried a Freddie King model that had fretnibs and a stereo varitone plus a slim neck. I took a chance on the Maybach because of no fretnibs and custom option, which would have been way too expensive with Gibson. The Maybach was delayed 5 times, so I went for an off the shelf model from Thomann. The Capitol has BIG neck, almost 44mm. wide, medium to vintage frets, I would have liked them bigger. I think the BB model also has a big neck if I remember correctly. So getting used to the neck takes a little time. But the tone is there, big bright with good sustain. Maybach cut corners on pots, pickguard and tuners, but the rest is fine, and is has a nice light relic job. So I will play this guitar some more and eventually make a KZbin video on it ;-)

He was playing in a more informal concert & in the line up backing him was a young Jimmy Hendrix. last guy on the right. He introduced them all very politely & then said “Oh yeh & that’s just Jimmy Hendrix” (Not his brightest moment) Hendrix let loose & BB did not play one more note after that. That concert ended early. He denied the whole thing. But the clips out there someplace. I saw it about 20 yrs ago.
