Para talagang for sale ang mga ladies,especially during the portion of quarter turn, there is also side comments from the host...and during the question & answer portion it is obvious they make fun the ladies..they don’t bring out the best qualities of the candidates...how sad 😔.

True. That "turn and pose" round was finally eliminated after the 1992 edition. It slowly transitioned from the traditional "casual walking" to the now-knwon "pasarela" aka "supermodelesque" runway walk.

Sa mga fastfood and fine dining naman ay may mga designted smoking areas noon. About the late Rita Gomez naman po, she had an elite status as a seasoned veteran actress kung kaya't nagagawa niya ang lahat ng gusto niya-- you do NOT mess around with Ms. Gmoez, mind you-- siya ang masasabing katumbas noon nina Elizabeth Taylor and Joan Collins.

No po, she competed in BBP 1980, batch ni Chat Silayan, and finished as first runner-up. She would later venture into acting by 1983, and one of her more popular projects was the PCTV-produced "Sesame" the Tagalog counterpart of USA's/CTW's "Sesame Street" (it ran from 193-84 only) and was the precursor to "Batibot" , the latter which ran from 1984 to 2001.
