I understand what Felicia is saying. She's not saying she liked Matt's speech better, or that WHAT he was saying was right. But that the way Jag went about his speech rubbed her the wrong way. Most of the houseguest have said they didn't like his speech, it was too aggressive. She was just saying he was a little too aggressive and if he had just given a speech like all his others, she would have voted for him too. But taking those digs at Matt when he didn't have to, because he was sitting beside Matt and heard the same thing we did. He should have known he was winning the moment Matt started talking lol. If it was anyone else sitting beside Jag, then yeah Jag's speech and digs are warranted bc he needs them. BUT, not with Matt lol. Matt literally handed him the win on a silver platter, so he didn't need to do any of that speech lol.

I was surprised by Jag's energy in his speech, but I refuse to call it "too aggressive." This was his last chance; he's been told by more than one person that everyone thinks Matt was the better player; he knew he had an audience that included BB fans who've seen theatric F2 speeches, and I suspect that Jag also understood he was being viewed under the lens that he was weak/cowardly. Neither of the final 2 were my favorite players this season, but of those two - Jag earned the win.

I 100% agree with Felicia. Jag’s speech was abrasive. He could’ve been persuasive without the tone that he used. Matt wasn’t able to articulate his gameplay, which is why he lost. If he had a good speech, he would’ve won the jury over. Jag is mean-spirited and was way worse than Matt during the season. Yes, the three of them ostracized Felicia and Cirie at the end, but FBJ never liked them and Jag came up with the plan to “crack” Felicia. He actually said that shit out loud on feeds with millions of people watching. This was one of the worst seasons in BB history.

Several jurors commented that Matt lost the game before they got to F2 because he continued to credit/blame Jag for their evictions even in their goodbye messages. As Cory said he assumed Matt was playing the best game, but when [Matt] told them he wasn't, I'm going to believe that.

I appreciate this breakdown so much! It's such a reminder of why I was rooting so hard for MeMe, and of why I enjoyed Ms. Felicia, even though I disagreed with her takes regularly throughout the season. It's unfathomable to me that the same woman who accused other players of riding others' coattails has taken issue with Jag advocating for his own game while making excuses for Matt's poor performance. Goes to show just how powerful our internalized biases can be even when we want to believe we're being fair/objective/logical.

I think what Jag said was on point. How he said it was a different story. He came across like he was pissed at Matt. It’s not about being kind. Matt pretended to be dumb. Every time Cam asked him a question or his experience. That was his strategy. When you act dumb as a strategy people can call you dumb. Felicia should have gotten closer to BJ. That was her fatal mistake. She disregarded BJ and a BB rule is to befriend everyone. Matt didn’t want to tell that he was manipulating people. Also Matt didn’t prepare a speech he didn’t deserve to win. Felicia a bitter juror like Cam said. Felicia wasn’t always kind. Girl it’s cut throat for $750,000 🛑 it. She wasn’t kind to BJ and that’s why BJ didn’t want to keep her.

When I'm being delulu, I like to think that I'm savvy and mean enough to play BB, but watching this interview hurt my heart all over again for how the three meanies treated Fe and Cirie. It's just like Jag's speech- a stretch too far. As for the final speeches, Matt was too weak and Jag was too strong.

I agree with Mama Fee, I did not like Jag's final speech even though he was more himself than he had ever been on the show. While he was quiet and reserved on the outside, he was raging with a God-like mentality on the inside, thinking he was superior to everyone and was controlling them like a puppeteer, on the last show, Jag felt safe to show the other houseguests this. I only felt sorry for Matt at first but he got what he deserved because he worshipped Jag, called him his king, and threw people who were on his side under the bus for Jag.

Felicia voted right. Matt should've won. Felicia said many UNKIND things about houseguests while in the house. I think it's OK for them to stick together (and keep people who are outside the alliance out) in the end of days because they are getting so nervous about the final 2 stuff.

I agree with Felicia. As a viewer who watched the feeds Matt could’ve positioned himself better bc he did make subtle moves and had a better social game than jag. Jag’s speech was aggressive but he sold his “why”. Matt couldn’t articulate his “why” and that cost him.

I'd love to see them playing mire cards and other games. Mister B could actually spring for a nice card shuffler....they're not very expensive and a good one is extremely quiet. I'd rather watch them play cards than two different kinds of pool.

There were times that Cameron and Jared called Matt (and others) stupid or dumb, but I don't think Ms. Felicia was present for those. There were also plenty times when Matt called HGs stupid - and much worse. The only time I could remember anyone referring to Matt as dumb where Felicia may have heard it was a repeat of Zingbot's language: e.g., at America's eviction speech, she said she would be targeting "the Aston moron" (Jag) and "the dumb blonde" (Matt). Ms. Fe could feel uncomfortable with that for sure; however, I hope in the future she would own that she made even more hurtful, personal comments both to and about other HGs.

As an aside: the infantalizing of a 27yo man who proved to be fully capable of manipulating, lying, strategizing, trash talking, and physically competing in BB in spite of his deafness has been frustrating all season. Matt is to be commended for playing this game fully, especially since the show itself didn't do nearly enough to accommodate his needs. Attributing his poor finale performance to anything other than his lack of hard work/preparation (Matt admitted that he didn't think about the potential questions he would get; Cirie also tried to coach Matt through his pitch at least a week before F2 and he sort of brushed it off) is not empathy, but pity.
