The 16 contestants set to enter the Big Brother house for season 26 of the CBS summer reality staple have been revealed. And that may not be all of them.
A video clerk, a former undercover cop, a celebrity chef, a VIP cocktail server, and a crochet business owner are among the players who will be saying goodbye to their sanity when the show premieres July 17. But, for the first time ever, the contestants will have the opportunity to vote in a 17th houseguest - a houseguest whose identity remains a secret. Could it be another new player, or will it be a former reality star, such as last season?
It seems this time the players - or at least one or some of them - will know and decide whether to allow another competitor in their midst. In the meantime, here are the first 16 contestants that will be competing in the artificial intelligence themed season under the watchful eye of the Chenbot. While Rubina doesn’t want to face off against competition beasts, Joseph Rodriguez, Lisa Weintraub, Tucker Des Lauriers, Cam Sullivan-Brown are more wary of the strategic players. “Somebody like a Vanessa Rousso,” Joseph, 30-year-old video store clerk, told Us. “Somebody who is really smart and cunning and also willing to call you out in front of other people and have you struggle to come up with a good answer in the moment.” For Lisa, a 33-year-old celebrity chef, she would not be thrilled to see Big Brother 16 champ Derrick Levasseur. “He had his hands in all of the cookie jars and he did it with kindness but also with really smart gameplay,” she reflected. “I would love to be on his team but I would also not like to go against him.” Tucker, a 30-year-old marketing and sales executive, answered Big Brother legend Dan Gheesling. While Tucker thinks he and the The Traitors season 2 star could be buddies, he knows what Dan can do in the game. Meanwhile, Cam, a 25-old physical therapist, would hate to see a player like Big Brother 23’s Tiffany Mitchell in the game. “She was the mastermind behind it all,” he explained. “She really wasn’t threatening in terms of challenges but she was threatening because she was pulling the strings with the Cookout.” Speaking of pulling strings, the 16 houseguests will get to do just that this season. CBS revealed on Monday that the first twist the players will encounter is the chance to vote in a 17th houseguest during the premiere. Additional details about who that player would be have yet to be announced. For Kenney Kelley, a 52-year-old former undercover cop, he’s not afraid of anyone who would walk in the house since he’s not the kind of person who gets “intimidated” easily. “There’s nobody I’d be threatened by at all,” he said. “I’m a pretty confident person. I’ll be able to get in that house and handle whoever is in there.”

Fun Fact: This is the first time since BB8 where woman won both HOH and veto during week 1. In bb13, however, rachel won hoh, and her and her partner (brendon) won veto so it wasnt solely won by woman.

something that happened last night that you might have missed: Lisa Quinn and Leah all stayed up super late last night and talked. Not all of it was about game, but some of it was. They had a moon water ceremony where they got the moon to bless their water apparently. But yeah i think that whole group is generally closer now. Quinn went to bed earlier then the other 2 and talked to the camera about thinking his game is going well. Another thing that happened was that Lisa was talking about how some people only started talking to her after she won the veto and how she doesnt trust them. Also Lisa talked to Leah who is allied with Matt and MJ about not trusting Matt and MJ. And like they were talking about that for a while. All the game talk was interspersed with a bunch of small talk so i probably missed some stuff.

To be completely fair, this 1 on 1 with Matt & Angela wasn't shown on feeds. It happened prior to the feeds being turned on. Im interested to see the edit thats for sure. What a day it was for sure. MJ will be found out right away if she uses her power. These people will know - there is no one in the house who would save him. MJ will tell him in advance and he won't keep his mouth shut. Kenny does not fit in. I felt bad for Joe- he was threatened by Matt right when he walked in the room. Joe tried to talk to Cam about it and Cam just wanted to nap.

I dont agree with you on bad behavior. Thats like saying big business can treat people the way they want because its for money, right? You can get upset with people with out being deliberately mean. Attacking looks etc isnt ok.

I dont think comparing businesses to BB is fair at all. A comparison could be sports and trash talking maybe. But again I think a big point is its NOT real life. If you stab your friend in the back to get a promotion at work yeah you suck but if you do it in BB you are a legend. But if you talk trash in sports youre going to get the spotlight. I just dont like being too hard on HGs and their actions in there unless its truly awful and worthy of shame. I would rather this type of stuff then everyone being afraid to even look at someone the wrong way fearing internet backlash. Like I said in the vid if the roles were reversed I know Matt would take lots of heat but I would not be one of them putting it on him.
