The one and only song they’ve never performed live. A lot of people don’t even know this song exists as it was a Japan exclusive track on the Metal Galaxy album. I think it’s a very fun and unique song. I love to see them perform it one of these days.

Great reaction, thanks! This song is a rarity and (almost) no one reacts to it. It was released as a exclusive track in the Japanese version of the Metal Galaxy album and it's not available outside Japan. It's the only song they haven't played live... well, alongside "Future Metal" but they have played the last on video during shows although they haven't performed it 'per se'. Personally, I like and enjoy this kind of oddities. 😁 🤘🦊

The thing about Future Metal is, it isn't really a song. It's a fairly short intro or warmup. It's purely Kobas work, maybe he thought Da Da Dance was too abrupt an opening. It always bugs me when it's included in any song ratings or polls because its inevitable it's going to come dead last, lol.

'FUTURE METAL' is the light side 'IN THE NAME OF'' is the dark side. Both intros without any live singing.

​@Ryujin170 I see what you mean. I've thought about it and I came to the conclusion that it's a song (kind of)... "BMD" and "INTO" are also 100% Koba's work and they are also openers (and we consider them songs, also, kind of... technically). In "BMD" they say four different words (each one), in "ITNO" none. So, I'm forced to admit "FM" as a "song". Not sure if I explained myself well, hehe... 😅

@@rickwagner- 'In the Name of' is purely Kobas work as well. I have never considered that a song either, It's tecnically incidental music. Metal Galaxy feels more like a concept album than TOO does. Like a carnival parade starting in the day and ending at night.

There's no way I would want to exclude BMD from a poll, so I guess the others should stay as well. You convinced me. Though I still think they are more incidental music than songs.

You're right to associate it with Vocaloid. It wasn't written by Yuyoyuppe, but it was arranged and produced by him. And Yuyoyuppe is a vocaloid legend. Please check out the vocaloid classic 'Hope' he wrote before joining team Babymetal. It could easily have been a Babymetal classic if he had written it later. Just imagine Su singing it.

It is included on disc 1 of the two of ‘Metal Galaxy’ album in Japanese edition. It has never been performed live. The song titles are sung in English at 1:43 and in Japanese at 3:27. At 3:06, the breakdown is taken from a Japanese children's song, ‘Zui zui zukkorobashi’ (ずいずいずっころばし). I am not a big fan of fast-tempo metal, and this song is a bit poppy, but as a tempo it fits my taste. Surprisingly, I listen to it a lot in my own car, haha. Thank you from Japan!

My theory is, it was written as a Black Babymetal song and would have had choreography, but Yui leaving stopped it from getting any, so they just left it. It might be revived one day. The longer they leave it the more classic it becomes.
