kawhi has shied away from going at harden for years now. harden is a bad matchup for kawhi because of harden's strength. so kawhi was going at KD despite the length because kd is easier to push around so was the better option for kawhi.

Harden pushed him mid air during the jump shot that had nothing to do with strength,was a foul, the missed shot on kd was bad shot selection, should have been a step back mid range shot not a floater creating 0 space. I would argue in today's league where everything is judged based on gather, Batum definitely gathered and started passing before the foul. I can sort of see the refs decision, but it's more of a 60/40 call than a 50/50 call to me if that makes any sense.
