I once got stuck in a 3 meter long tunnel I chiseled through some ice. It was about the same size as these holes lol. Not too pleasant being under a mountain of ice with no one around to help. After a few minutes of struggling I managed to get out.

Then, the realization slowly sunk in that I might be stuck for a long time, and I started to panic. It was kinda scary, but I managed to calm down and pull myself out backwards slowly. It sure felt nice being free, yeah.

That's actually the pose you are taught in caving. One arm forward, one to the side. Breathe out all the way and push through and do not inhale until you're out the other side, or this happens. That's a tight restriction, but nothing like the ones I've had to inch through for hours.

Many years ago I went "cave diving" with a cousin and other friends and very deep down in the mountain there was a passage just like that about 20 to 30 meters long we had to pass through. You could only "walk it" by moving your shoulders and the tip of your toes, if now, you got stuck there, no rescue. Horrible!
