Why have you artificially increased the frame-rate from the original 25 (25 progressive frames within 50 fields) to 60 distinct frames? Completely messes up the motion...

Because I wanted to make it smoother. But I get your point.

Yeah, it is interlaced and broadcast as 1080i. My DVB-T2 Tuner (when recording and uploading to KZbin) converts it to 1080p (progressive)

D. Page Don't listen to what your freeview box is telling you, record it through a tuner card & look at the raw video stream. it's broadcast progressive. If it was truly interlaced, you'd see combing artifacts if you played the video back in a player like VLC, without deinterlacing.

it may be that it's flagged as interlaced, but if both of the interlaced fields are the same, then it's effectively still progressive.
