Radio 1 Weekend in Ibiza with Pete Tong and his radio show, The Essential Selection, broadcasting live from Cafe Mambo on the sunset strip in San Antonio, Ibiza. Steve Edwards performs at sunset with the Bob Marley song - Redemption Song and the his tune with Bob Sinclar - World Hold On (Children of the Sky).
This was the Friday night of the Radio 1 Weekend, before things moved on to Pacha (for Pete's Pure Pacha) and Amnesia on the Saturday night.

I don’t know what you have to do to get a Grammy, but I am strongly of the opinion that Steve Edwards should have one for this….! - though I could be slightly biased as I was there in the front row, but the goose bumps on the 17th anniversary are still mind blowing….! @PeteTong - best Radio1 in Ibiza moment ever…?!?

The reason then they even could transmit the broadcast to the BBC because I repaired myself the mixer but who cares ask Javier Anadon he knows as he is the owner !?

Whatever happened to Steve Edwards the DJ? He had a great Sunday afternoon Sunday show on Radio 1 and played soul... probably a 90s equivalent of Robbie Vincent.

What the BBC does not know is as they could not find a technician to repair on the fly the mixer that was upstairs to transmit it !!!I was the a crazy Belgian who had the chips with me who I used to build Radio Contact in Belgium with LOL I repaired the mixer of Mambo otherwise there were no transmissions !!! kzbin.info
