To celebrate the upcoming Coronation of King Charles III's, here is an amazing throwback to the 1980's when Contra Vision's Founder, Roland Hill, met the future King of England.
Tomorrow's World was a weekly television programme which aired on the BBC from 1965 to 2003 and showcased new innovations. These clips are a compilation from two episodes of the programme.
The first episode, which aired in 1986, shows Contra Vision's founder, Roland Hill, discussing Contra Vision XR with Prince Charles as he was one of 6 finalists receiving judge's commendation for the Prince of Wales Award for Industrial Innovation and Production.
The second episode, which was entitled "Innovation with the Most Potential in the 1990s", was a 1990 review of all the inventions featured in the 1980s.
The technology they are discussing was Contra Vision Perforated Window Film's predecessor, Contra Vision XR, which was dots, black on one side and white on the other, printed in exact registration.
