My ancestors lived in Waltness, Shapinsay. That was in the 1500's-1600's, they then moved to the Glasgow area before coming to the USA. I also have family ties to the Finley clan, but that's another conversation.

Please if you are going to do a show on locations learn how to pronounce places properly and at least devote a bit of time to finding out how to!! Bennachie isnt BENNAKIE its pronounced BENNA-HEE and Earls Marischal Isnt MARISKHAL Its pronounced Mar-shall Little bit of respect for where you visit .....
