As a person who can’t read notes and play any instrument, this kind of music seems linke magic. It’s so uncommon today to see so many instruments playing on the stage (playing „pop“ music instead of classic“). This is one of the reasons why I love Clean Bandit. This combination of the violin for example with this kind of elektro pop kinda sound.. it’s just amazing..

I love this groove. It is one of my fave "recent" songs, the synths and bass and Jess' voice just mix up so nicely. Since i heard this song around 7 or 8 years ago i fell in love with that sound, and in this version when the bass enters it's just lovely, adds a nice spice to it

2:51 - I think he knocks the microphone off the violin, you can hear a crack as it hits the floor. He puts his hand to his face because it couldn't have happened at a worse time, just going into a quiet segment of the song. You then see him pick it up and re-attach it just before he re-starts playing.

This is fantastic ... but, performances on Later always used to be 100% live, with this and the new Coldplay performance I've noticed they are using backings to beef up the sound - I'd rather hear a different fully live version

Are you talking instrumental backing or vocal backing? I'm pretty sure the instrumental is fully live as the guy on synth has that kind of set up and you can see him scuttling between keyboards bless him :')

Oh yeah of course they do tend to pre-programme the samples! I suppose with a song like that where the synth is so prominent it was for ease and to ensure there was no mess up's. I guess it'd be quite damaging for a group on there debut haha! Either way great performance! :)

Beccii Louise This is the best/ most accurate live performance I've seen of this track, but there's definitely extra parts here and there that are on a backing track. Check the keys player's hands at 2:28 - he's using a piano sound, playing a bass line in the left hand, and chords in the right. However, if you listen closely there's also a riff higher up on piano which he's not playing. Unfortunately there's just too much going on in the original track for 1 keys player to play all at once. Still, as I said, best attempt I've seen.
