That’s one nice aspect of life in France. People take the midday break (of 2 hrs), seriously & don’t rush their food. Very civilized & less stressful.

Pintxos and tapas are types of APPETIZERS, pintxos are not tapas (“tapa” means ‘cover’ and in its origin was to stop mosquitos and bugs to fall into your beer jar).
