Jamie Dornan is so funny and charming. More importantly, Graham Norton is an excellent host. He actually lets his guests tell a complete story without interrupting, so we actually get to see the actor's real personality come through. Jimmy Fallon and David Letterman could take a page from Graham's book.

Totally agree. I hate the way a lot of American hosts interview. It's all about the joke in America.
@Tottenhamie10 жыл бұрын
As American, I completely agree. Interviewing is a talent in itself and I've loved Graham Norton ever since I got cable when I was a teenager with BBC America.
@lirdabert10 жыл бұрын
i was thinking about that too, because I love jimmy fallon to bits, but he really has a heavy hand in interviews. I figure it's because they're allowed to show a lot more on tv in Britain than they are in the u.s. so maybe he's trying to make sure it never veers into "questionable" conversation. like, trying to avoid awkward silences and appeasing the censors maybe? I don't know for sure, it was just a thought. I loooove all the games they play on the tonight show though, I'd love to see more of that!
@natty719919 жыл бұрын
pam0626 I think it's beacuse of the time... This Graham show lasts about 30-40 minutes? maybe more? In America every interview is shorter than 10 minutes and with breaks in between, so of course they have to speed things up and keep it interesting... In England (or BBC, or just this show, idk how it works) they have time for the guests to relax and just talk... That's what I think at least hahaah
@thingthang29049 жыл бұрын
natty71991 That is why. The American talk shows mentioned, have 10 minutes to cover every topic. Graham's show is long enough to be conversational.

All the other interviews I've seen of him have been so boring and reserved- I think he's over the whole asking about the sex scenes in 50Shades of Grey. This is the 1st one I've seen where he is laughing and seems really genuine about what he is talking about and at ease
@nialg20210 жыл бұрын
Plus he was a model, for him seeing and partaking in nudity was probably an everyday thing. Dakota also has pics online from swimming topless. In all the interviews they always make the sex and nude scenes a really big deal. Like there is something completely crazy or unbelievable about such behavior. It's probably kind of insulting considering they both are ok with things like that.
@lalapop2810 жыл бұрын
It's mainly because this interview was about a year before 50 Shades was released or started its promotion campaign, he's there to promote other things like The Fall, which is an incredibly good serie. The movie 50 shades hadn't caught up with him yet.

Tiptoe walking is a sensory integration issue. I'm surprised nobody picked up on that when he was a kid. I have to say, I don't find the "old" walk as weird as the new version. So there are two basic varieties (some may argue for three) of NI accent, both distinct from the more widely known accents of the Republic of Ireland. We notice some similarities in our accent with many American accents, presumably due to the mass emigration of many of us to the Southern states many moons ago. We share some words in common too that are only used in Virginia-southward and Northern Ireland.... Sorry to ramble on!

I suggest you walk into a GAA club in Tyrone or West Belfast and tell the patrons there who're born and raised in Ireland whether they agree with you. To class the North as some kind of foreign country to the South is retarded, and has no basis in reality.

Nope, I have to watch it again, because it looks normal to me..

I think he rises onto his toes a bit earlier than normal, not much though. Most ppl stay flat footed a bit longer before toe off. It probably used to be more pronounced before he fixed it.

this is my favorite interview/video of Jamie Dornan out there! He is so unrealistically CHARMING.

I JUST CAN'T STOP WATCHING THIS VIDEO!!! When i started watching this, this video had only 80.000 views or somewhere like there and it's amazing how many Jamie Dornan fans are now here. I really love Jamie Dornan. He isn't a bad actor as some may claim. I'm sure, some of you may seen the series "The Fall" and in my opinion he plays the role very good. But however, I'm excited to watch the "Fifty Shades Of Grey" movie and also the second season of "The Fall". Mr. Grey will see you now in 5 weeks and 3 days ♡

He's the only reason I want to see 50 Shades hahaha. SO FIIIIIIIIIINE

After seeing him do a few interviews here in the states recently for 50 shades, I had to come back to watch this interview. Mostly because I haven't seen him as comfortable as he was in this interview. In the interviews I've seen him in he looks awkward and uncomfortable. I just found it funny how adorable, charismatic, and engaging he was here.. and he was just talking about his walk. Either way, I'm glad this video is out there. So people can see his personality a bit more.

I just watched a 2022 interview of him before this video and it takes me almost a hot minute to process this is him 7 years ago! His face hasn't change a bit!!!

I feel Jamie’s pain. I didn’t realise until I was 18 and a ballet teacher pointed out that I walk on the inside of my right foot and that’s why I had trouble balancing. When I try to walk with my right foot flat on the ground like normal people, it feels so strange and uncomfortable! 😂😂

Yeah must be a bit awkward for him. But then he just remembers how incredibly rich Christian Grey is gonna make him, and he's happy again. :P

Forgetting all the drama that's surrounds him because of FSOG, there is just something so refreshing and genuine and lovable about Jamie Dornan. I rewatch this whenever I want to smile

Jamie is the finest male specimen I've seen in many years. He's adorable and so funny. His wife is VERY lucky.
