@@QuadMochaMatti how do you know it's a myth..dont be so small minded..just because we can't prove God to each other doesn't mean he doesn't exist..of course you can say the opposite is true..but in the end we all make a choice when we die..you either believe there is nothing or something after death..after all an atheist has more faith than most to actually believe there is nothing takes great faith..

@@Drive_Far_Away i think the issue is with Christianity’s, and all other religions’, arrogance in claiming they know how ‘it all works’. The questions of what happens after death or how did the universe appear need not be conflated with religion. Especially not one with such a ‘complicated’ histor (and present for that matter).

I was actually thinking the opposite. Think he’s gone downhill. That last series he did was utter cringe, very surprised they are doing a second series after the awful viewing ratings.

@@Joeonline26 You don’t get to choose the religion indoctrinated to you since birth. You only take vows based on the Religous Order you joined. After you graduate and study to be a Priest, Nun, Brother or Monk.

There is a big difference between being a general Catholic in society and joining a specific order to become a monk where you take vows like vows of silence.

It is stupid because u can be silent and still help hold the door for the man with things in his hands . Prayers and obeying God’s laws is the only way to get closer to God.

Yeah it's real, he's the former host of Skirmish - a military based quiz show on digital cable channel UK Conquest, which had the largest audience share for a digital channel at that time of day in the Norfolk area. At its peak it would regularly pull in upwards of 8000 viewers, which to put in to perspective, is eleven times the population of Hemsby!

A monastic vow of silence is a myth. Monks and cloistered nuns take vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience, and sometimes other vows peculiar to a religious order. But none take a vow of silence. What they all do is observe a RULE of silence at certain times of day.

I feel so badly for that guy, you have no idea how badly he was treated on Tropic Thunder. His boss constantly shouted at him, had him punched and then he just ended up losing his head in Vietnam. A sad ending for a film director just trying to do his best.

Ive been wanting to try a year long vow of silence but as the monk says, silence is becoming increasingly hard to find in the modern world. Especially having to work. Maybe I should learn asl and pretend to be deaf. Not even joking.

I ACCIDENTALLY KNEW THIS GUY BECAUSE OF AN OPEN BOOK MOVIE (WHICH BY THE WAY I DIDN’T FINISH ) BECAUSE HIS CHARACTER IN REAL LIFE IS DISGUSTING. HIS COMPLAINTS ABOUT HIS WATER HAVING AN ICE WAS SO CLEAR IN THE RECORDING. HE ALSO COMPLAINS ABOUT SO TINY THINGS LIKE AN OLD WOMAN. IT WAS AKWARD AND STOP PLAYING BUTTON CATCHY. I SAID, MAN THIS GUY HAS AN ATTITUDE PROBLEM. SO I TRIED TO SEARCH HIM OVER THE INTERNET AND FOUND OUT THAT HE ACCIDENTALLY SHOT HIS AUDIENCE IN HIS FORMER SHOW. I WOULD NOT WONDER IF SOMEONE SABOTAGED HIM TO END HIS CAREER BECAUSE OF HIS ATTITUDE AND BEING A BITCHY MAN.
