However, I draw the line at shipping real people. I ship Frodo Baggins and Samwise Gamgee like Fedex; I do not, however, ship Elijah Wood and Sean Astin. I don't know about you, but if I were a famous actor I personally would feel a bit uncomfortable with the knowledge that there are people out there writing porny slash fic about me and that one other actor I shared the screen with once but am not acquainted with off the set.

I think both Michael and James are both not homophobic. The fact that they didn't cring, shift uncomftarbly or hide their faces in their hands but actually took it in stride and good humor is quite amazing to me. They are grown men; it's naive of us to think that they have pure minds and didn't sense the homoerotic tension between Eric and Charles when they read the script. There was a formally worded letter asking the writer if they could read out the summary on their show and for the writer to reply to their email. Plus when people came to her about it she said she knew and she was enthusiastic about it. So I dunno about the fanartists [I hope so!] but that particular fan writer gave permission.

+Hannah B we all did , you know before those sites like archive of our own , fanfiction , and live journal were a just unique interset between fanfictions writers and the ones who seek to read fanfiction, but apparrently these sites had became famous as a place for people to unleash their creativity and imaginations , you could say they are almost famous as youtube and fb since they have millions stories in there . and of course since the fanfictions related to movies and series , then tv programs hosts take it as advantage to create a new section in their programs , who would knows that fanfictions and fan arts one day will be helpful to them, tv stars eventually knew what going on behind their backs and what the fans are cooking . so yeah those sites are world wildly known especially after apppearing on the norton show. the same for fan arts. whome ever created those sites , i don't think they expected this kind of sucess.
