Nathan is a rock singer, this was a massive risk for him and he still smashed. This is Christine's genre so it was inevitable that she was gonna win and Nathan even said that. It's not even about the song. His voice is very much like a hard rock singer but her voice is very special. Yes she songs ballads. But it's very rare to find a singer whose tone is so silky smooth in so many of her registers. Usually there is a point where you strain your voice to give a powerful effect but it seems effortless for her voice.
