The internet has ruined everything. Life was so much slower in the 90s.

Jill was great and a lot of mystery still surrounds her death, the conspiracies are quite interesting as well.

vhs archives yes I was just talking about this last night and it is very unlike the British police not to have got her killer, They never give up & with advanced technology today, I find this really hard to believe that she was selected because of her job with crimewatch, Money is usually the motive and gain, So who gained??? Why not the production producer or someone else, It just doesn’t make any sense. I think a huge reward of a million pounds should be put out for information leading to the arrest and convictions of the perpetrators by the BBC people always respond to money.
@vhsarchives3574 жыл бұрын
@@jasbarsoph Don't think its about money maybe just something she was investigating near the time.Doubt any million pound reward would do it either. The only way this is solved is if the killer hands himself in...but even then that might not be the real killer handing himself in!

Born in the 80s and grew up watching this every Tuesday evening (and Wish You Were Here on itv on a Wednesday). Sat there seeing lots of places around the world really imprinted on me as a child, and is one of the reasons I've travelled so much as an adult. Even now this theme tune gives me the warm fuzzies.

Weirdly nostalgic seeing this and wish you were here, you dont see programmes like this anymore but was always great to see so many places abroad that you'd probably never visit

My favourite presenter on Holiday was Anne Gregg, she was fun and not so snobby as Jill Dando. She got the push because of ageism, at the BBC in the early 90s. Even though Anne was only 51 at the time, but both ladies have gone now. Rip both x
