I also agree with it more what comes to album experience. I just tend to go back to their albums more often than any other artists work. It also proves that music doesn't have to be that complex to move you to the core. I think that's very encouraging for any music maker to realize.

This song takes a whole new meaning and perspective once you hear it in the film. Without saying too much, having such a lovely melody accompany some of the most brutal and twisted imagery only makes the whole experience that much more powerful and beautiful in a very sick way hahaha. Suspiria is not for everyone but having Thom Yorke make the soundtrack was the perfect choice to accompany what, in my opinion, is by far the best film of the year, and my new personal favorite film.

I think this might just be one of his best song. How can one be such an amazing songwriter for so long how is it even possible
@rumourhats6 жыл бұрын
Dude, the musicality of this piece of music is at the level of a child. It's a few melodic notes, and bass chords at the start of every bar. It's not complicated. Then, over the top, you just whine, which people interpret as being "emotional", and then you have the artifice of it being a good song. But it really isn't. It's just boring, because, if you haven't noticed, Thom has been doing this kinda shit since "How I made my Millions?" which if anything, illustrates an almighty lack of progression in style, substance, and content.
@persianskeptic48146 жыл бұрын
@@rumourhats As someone who listens to a lot of complicated Prog, Jazz and fusion I'll just say if you think simple = boring that's just your opinion man. And it basically means you just started listening to more complicated and experimental stuff and you think you're so special and intelligent. Don't to push it on others and state it like it's a fact.
@rumourhats6 жыл бұрын
@@persianskeptic4814 Yes, I am aware that you're KC fan. And I'm not using "complicated music" as a barometer to good music at all. A lot of simple music can be really creative and effective. But Radiohead/Thom have been creatively bankrupt since In Rainbows - if they could be bothered to write something out of their comfort zone, it would be appreciated. The fact you think this is songwriting as its finest baffles me.
@persianskeptic48146 жыл бұрын
@@rumourhats hey if it's not effective at all for you then whatever. The majority of Radiohead fanbase think they still got it and A moonshaped pool was a great album. And they seem to be really loving this ones too. Same with the critics. So just don't state that stuff like it's a scientific fact.
