A fantastic effort from the female Puma, and look how fast she was! Her speed was unbelievable. As soon as she was thrown from the Guanaco she instantly launched back onto it. This is a great example of a predator cost/benefit ratio. The cost of hunting large prey: Difficult, less chance of a kill, and higher chance of serious injury, versus the benefits: Enough food to last a long time, and more experience in hunting prey like that in the future. Good try, mother Puma.

I searched on the Internet, the weight of the puma is 50_100 kg, I do not know if it differs according to places. The clip says 3 times the weight of the Gonak, the maximum weight is 136 kg. Maybe the mother cougar weighed 50 kg, I don't know if there is a 45 kg cougar .Imagine that this is what Gonak did, weighing 136 kg, cougar 50 kg I don't know why cougar fans keep saying that a cougar is able to kill a horse and sometimes an elk or even a moose haha so funny that even a wildebeest would destroy a mother and her children easily wildebeest could reach 280 kg They weigh 190 to 280 kg (230 kg on average). Imagine what a zebra would do now, a 2200 lb bison or an 1800 lb moose.
