Penguins are mindblowing animals!! Definitely a scary moment for the babies. They are definitely the cutest little ones ever. Very intelligent. And so succeptable to danger. Kudos to the penguin world.

They need it for survival. The parents won't be there forever so they're training the babies to stand on their own two feet. It looks brutal but that's how it should be.

And such amazing self-control from the camera people! They are required to let nature take its course, just being there to record the events that unfold. I could never do their job so responsibly and artistically. My camera would be tossed into the snow after five minutes, and I'd be trying to fill my tent with dozens of baby penguins to form a safe huddle with them 🥺

It's crazy being even that young they have to learn to survive and adapt. So they can adapt when they get older.

Well, they hatch around late July or early August and start their official taking care of themselves when they finally go to the ocean and learn to swim and catch food all by themselves in December when summer begins so they do shoot up to adulthood pretty fast. 😁
