+Kirk Tran really? i don't think so, lot of nerfs on BBCF they made a more centered combo haz than the previous one and the new move jagai(pretty low range and useless) goes into stance hit or whiff makin haz predictable, we can,t fly around the screen how we were used to look carefully (they nerfed the ouroboros too) and one of my biggest nightmares is that the super overdrive kick (jyaoku houtenjin) is not invulnerable on startup anymore. We'll adapt of course, but firrst impression sayin', i'm afraid haz became horribly difficult to play, tough he have always been pretty technical and guess what? the special throw is almost a normal hit now but i'll keep playin with him

+Salem Both Hazama and Terumi are now forever separate. He no longer has those lines. Also, Hazama is ACTUALLY faking his own amnesia for shits and giggles. He also refuses to be Terumi's vessel once more, but thanks to Rachel and Trinity they can't fuse back together anyway. Hazama also has his own agenda different from Terumi's as well.

ah been waiting for this. 3K off command grabs and u can get damage off 214D A? sign me up. I guess 2D is gunna be the go to move in combos now. and being able to shortdash 5B after rising fang looks nice. being able to combo after 236A CH seems kinda random but I'll take it. Hazama damage actually looks slightly better suprisingly. not gunna lie I was skeptical about CF Hazama but this looks promising.

I've heard statements online that Hazama became low-tier in this game, I can easily say as a Hazama player looking at these combos that's bullshit cause he looks just as versatile as he was before

It might be less that he's bad, but that others got a lot better. He still looks annoying to fight a skilled one though.

a potential reason to that is because ArcSys removed Houtenjin's invincibility frames

The Keyblade Apprentice hazama is low tier now, and falling back on terumi because hazama is bad now is just a tier hop move

It's mostly that he's lost a few of his routes that used to exist, he's still extremely versatile and has a lot of mixups, but he has to work far harder for simple damage than just about anybody else in the game arguably.
