She treats her enemies also with respect n provides them with basic necessities n also take care of their entertainment as it is very hard when u r POW. I cannot imagine what Pakistan barbarian would have done with Indian POW, in Kargil Lt. Saurabh Kalia and other jawans were tortured and mercilessly killed. The brutality was of severest nature, Pakistani gouged out his eyes, I believe India should have not respected Geneva convention at least for few Pakistani army personnel.

My Grandfather was Honary Capt in Military police retd in 1980 After 1971 surrender he was Jco Ic of a POW camp he has many stories of 1971 war and those camps as per him they were given best food as well as there was facility of games like Volleyball and kabadi infact my father and chacha was kids those days and they use to play with pakistani prisoners

Entire credit for this decent treatment goes to Gen Sam Manekshaw. There was an incident during monsoons , when our own soldiers used to stay in tents but POWs were given total protection from rains

रेहान फज़ल जी, आप एक बहुत महत्वपूर्ण बात भूल गये। All India Radio की Urdu Service से दिन में तीन बार फरमाइशी गानों का प्रोग्राम आता था। 1-आपकी फर्माइश-,सुबह 8 से 9:15 बजे 2- आपकी पसंद-,दुपहर 3 से 4:50 बजे 3 रात को शायद 10:30 तामील ऐ इर्शाद दिन के प्रोग्रामों में 5 या 10 मिंट गाने रोककर एक प्रोग्राम आता था-- पाकिस्तानी युद्धबंदियों के पैग़ामातऔर इखताबास यानि excerpts of messages of POWs of Pakistan. यह प्रोग्राम लगातार लगभग 3 साल चला।
