I'm 62 and generally consider myself scathing of modern bands and their music but happened to catch this on Live on Later and I have to say it grabbed me completely, just so original, competently performed and makes me think I should maybe broaden my field of what I listen to a bit more.

Agreed, I think we should all think more like that, open minded and ready for some new and different

I’m always blow away when modern day musicians can sing as good as they can in their music videos. Awesome!

This track first grabbed my attention last year. Was initially attracted to the ska style and Rickenbacker guitar sound. Soon realised that there was so much more to this young band. Have been listening to them all year and their hotly anticipated debut album did not disappoint. Saw them live in Cambridge last night and they were brilliant, good luck for the future lads.

*Lyrics* Here's a little lesson in trickery This is going down in history If you wanna be a Villain Number One You have to chase a superhero on the run Just follow my moves, and sneak around Be careful not to make a sound (Shh) (No, don't touch that!) We are Number One Hey! We are Number One We are Number One Ha ha ha Now look at this net, that I just found When I say go, be ready to throw Go! (Throw it on him, not me!) (Ugh, let's try something else) Now watch and learn, here's the deal He'll slip and slide on this banana peel! (Ha ha ha, gasp! what are you doing!?) Ba-ba-biddly-ba-ba-ba-ba, ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba We are Number One Hey! Ba-ba-biddly-ba-ba-ba-ba, ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba We are Number One Ba-ba-biddly-ba-ba-ba-ba, ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba We are Number One Hey! Ba-ba-biddly-ba-ba-ba-ba, ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba We are Number One Hey! Hey!

@@charlieblack2490 Yeah they did a bit on them on ITV news and James Skelly was with them in the clip. Love the Coral and I love this band. They have a few different sounds too which is impressive. Some of the songs are very Morrisey-esque too. Another musical hero of mine.

Lyrics: Hello Jon. Apologies for the deception, but I rather wanted to make sure you started reading, so I thought it best not to announce myself. I’m assuming you’re alone; you always did prefer to read your statements in private. I wouldn’t try too hard to stop reading; there’s every likelihood you’ll just hurt yourself.
