David in a full pinstripe suit, big dumb grin like a little kid, Craig in a Hawaiian shirt jammin out with the brush sticks like he's in a metal band, and a full orchestra filling the room with sweet resonating heartache. It's exactly what is perfect about David Gray's music. Absolutely perfect.

I've been watching a few different videos of this song and I can't help but notice people's comments are of two varieties, they relate the song and it's emotion to some sort of sad memory they have, or they relate it to some sort of happy memory or time in their life. I think what's beautiful about the best love songs is the fact that they truly portray love as it really is, both deeply saddening and wonderfully beautiful at the same time. having personal love is one of the best things we can ever have, which makes it one of the most wonderful things but what's truly horrible is the fact that no matter how great our love for another is, it's the fact that one day it will end. but it matters not that it ends, I believe it matters more that it happened at all.
