The first time I heard Jack Savoretti, it only took the 1st sentence of the lyrics to know that his voice had the soul of Joe Cocker as well as deep rhythm and blues along with the richness of European influences, young and sassy like most Argentinians, he’s the whole enchilada or should I say “empanada”Lol! This song is fantastic paired with the BBC symphony! I would love to hear a duet with a complementing soulful voice like Tracy Chapman, Alicia Keys or Christina Aguilera. When you have a voice like this, it’s like the voice of the people, for the people. It resonates with the the common experiences we all share! Congrats Jack!

I got there late that Saturday night, this song just started as i got to the ticket booth/entry point. By the time i got to the front the song ended and Jack said goodnight....i turned around and left. I had come to London from Australia and seeing Jack live had been planned as a trip highlight for me. Oh well "c'est la vie" until next time London.
