What Barry Gibb and his brothers mastered was “the hook” in songwriting and coming up with a catchy tune. Listen to the lyrics of “Grease”. They make no sense but they rhyme and that tune is great.

he can but it sounds bloody awful and totally weak and strained when he does it for prolonged times. It is ok but its not too pleasant to here. Technically its on pitch but its not nice.. He'd be better to lower it into a comfortable range some reverb and effects might help or some backing tracks but raw like this its not nice on the ear.

but but the brothers gibb weren't about disco they were just included into it due to "Saturday night fever" movie they were just about the music, which just happened to coincide with disco. of the era, look at that big blow up of records most of the "records" blown up were r & b not so much disco . don't get me wrong I was never a fan of disco but luved the bee gees music and always felt let others live the way they want .

Barry Gibb really is a legend. This is the first time I've seen him perform and really enjoy himself on stage since the sad passing of Maurice and Robin. I hope someone can put up more of his Glastonbury appearance and the non-Saturday night disco material. The Bee Gees were so much more than disco, so many classic songs before and after that film.

as much as I respect Barry as a songwriter and artist most of the bee gees songs were a group effort between Barry and his brothers both Barry and the Bee gees are iconic LEGENDS, Robin had a voice none has yet to duplicate, simply because robins voice was a trumpet so well played only he could play it..

I can imagine, the sadness he has, singing these songs without his brothers anymore. They were the best disco group in the history of world music. His voice is unique, unmistakable. I am 61 years old, they have signed, all the best nights of my life. He and his brothers with Saturday night fever wrote, played and sang, the most beautiful dance songs. Bee gees forever.

His brothers are indeed waiting for him, but there's no rush. Andy died too young at 30. Maurice at 53, younger than my father and Robin at 62, he could still be with us if cancer didn't take him. We only have Barry left, but sadly not for long as you mentioned. All we can do is "stayin' alive" until then.

He is truly "Staying Alive". Not many people can get to that age and still reach their tones like they did in their youth. One of a kind he is, a living legend, singer, guitar player and songwriter. Here's hoping he continues "Staying alive" for many years to come.

I love this....not only it is the sexiest recording ever made but the way the stage security have pre-arranged a dance routine just shows the love they have for the Bee Gees. Glastonbury is the best party on Planet Earth. The brothers would be very pleased with Barry I'm sure of that...
