He's not a great guitarist, hehas said that himself (probably partly because he wants to stay humble). So, he's not a great guitarist, but he is the best guitarist for the music that he plays with his band. This just shows that you don't have to be a virtuoso, you just need to be good enough, and you need to write great songs.
