Ominously, the Ukrainians were used to test new west-supplied jamming technology. It works reasonably well but is short-ranged, and AFVs continued to be destroyed by artillery and fibre-optic drones. If there are enough of these jamming units the Kiev regime will use them in their actual last-ditch PR offensive into Russia (Belgorod direction?) shortly.

There may be an alternative analysis, Being on the defensive is not necessarily "on the back foot." Ukraine pushed out as far as they dared in Kursk. While the frontline troops held the Russian counterattack at bay, defensive troops were digging in behind them. The Ukrainian front line fell back to prepared ground of their choosing and have been holding there for the last month. In Ukraine, Russians are choosing the ground on which they fight. In Kursk, they have no choice but to keep attacking the same Ukrainian brick wall over and over again. That is how to fight a war of attrition.

Where is the evidence for "North Korean troops"? It's unlikely the Russians need infantry assistance as they now substantially outnumber the Ukrainians, and in any case, coordinating with foreign troops is no easy thing. Observers? Perhaps. @CrimsonFan22 сағат бұрын
@skelafeti Well, as I said above, I see significant NK involvement as inherently rather unlikely (though NOT impossible). Consequently, I COULD be persuaded, but only by evidence that couldn't be faked or exaggerated. Both sides no doubt lie rather a lot, but as the Ukrainians are clearly losing at present, they have a greater motive. They hope to get South Korea involved. The recent attempted coup by South Korea's president, the regime-change machinations in Georgia, cancelling elections in Rumania, are all in the same vein. The West, not just Ukraine, is getting desperate.
