Serious injuries are so devastating. I sent to several PTs for various reasons. The best was a PT place that focused on whole body bio-mechanical movements and how something else can adversely affect a problem area. They began by working with high level athletes. Expensive but worth it.

Excellent interview. Her parents and siblings moved to Colorado to advance her skiing skills. Lindsey is very intelligent and well spoken. I'm glad she won her Olympic gold in Vancouver BC. As she notes during her great winning years starting around 2002 social media went from a minor thing on the www to a large part of it with all the crap celebrities, stars and even ordinary people suffer from when it gets nasty. I hope she socked away money and invested no longer 'having to' work has a comfortable next 40+ years.

The road to becoming a ranked ski racer begins with a very privileged life. The fees at our local ski club are cost prohibitive. Skiing is & always has been a elitist sport.

@@jasonkennedy3517 Skiing often requires real estate near a ski resort. Real estate near an ice rink in rural Saskatchewan or Manitoba is much cheaper, but the annual costs of hockey + the equipment are indeed cost prohibitive.
