Ghana gained independence from colonial rule in 1957. Once again, a journalist has totally misunderstood what a Commonwealth Realm is. Between 1957 and 1960, Elizabeth II had been Queen of Ghana entirely separately from her positions as Queen of the UK, Queen of Canada, Queen of Papua New Guinea, etc. One person, many different offices. True - however look how she has treated the Queen and the stress she and Harry has added to her in the last year until she looks so frail.
