There was no banner for me, nothing much was obscured, a large square pool around 2.5 meters deep 4x5 meters of a side with a seat around the top. A small brown dish sitting on the edge. Two amphora leaning against a wall which had an exposed 30mm lead pipe running horizontally at chest hight Up at the roof line a tile depiction of figures said to be athletes.

Why not adjust the opacity of the 200-200 solid RED background for text across the lower half of the screen? It utterly swamps the image (which lacks the contrast and brightness to survive behind it). Is this a BBC NEWS house style? If so WHY keep it over this feature, it looks terrible. @seajelly2421 they’re made from lead in fact the word Plumbing comes from the Latin plumbum meaning lead. The really weird part about this is the Romans actually knew that was toxic but use it anyway because it’s just so damn convenient

Lead pipes were in use till even abt 7-8 decades back . Ggl search .. "In the 1930s copper pipes or galvanized steel pipes began to replace most of the lead pipes in residential plumbing. Solder, a material that's used to join together metals like copper pipe, still contained lead until it was banned for plumbing applications in the 1980s"
