I was at Ushuaia for this great set from B.Traits & Monki. Ive been going to Ibiza since 96' and was raving way before that! to hear these classics at Ushuaia was Great, Layo & Bushwacka Love Story amazing! and classics from 94'-93' like Baby D, Let me be your fantasy & Awesome 3, Dont Go! its great for the younger crowd to hear these classics to understand how the scene has progressed since the 90's. Credit to B.Traits & Monki for revisiting earlier House and Happy Hardcore/ D&B. R.I.P Frankie Knuckles You Got The Love, tip your hat to the Godfather of House!

I started listening to House and Happy Hardcore/ D&B, etc. in 1990 when I moved from Oregon to Orlando, Florida. I had never heard anything like it! Instantly in love and still can't get enough! Great set. Nice track selection. Not the best on a technical level, but you can hear they're actually mixing, which is more than I can say for a lot of DJs these days.

Andrew Berry i agree, but they need to learn lot mate really !! i think basic vinyl skills come into it more, the rule your taught when learning to mix, is knowing when to bring in a record or not, i think they bring in records all over the place it sounds like a train crash even if in time. let the records play bit develop an understanding and a feel for them .

My advise to these djs, is take your time more, understand the records, when to bring in or not (its old skill you develop as dj from Vinyl turntables) i like the set but your bringing in records all over the place it don't sound right even if in time. relax more ! no rush ! feel the music, nice set and selections

the crowd were probably there to see david guetta /sarcasm. but 120bpm house doesnt tend to hit broad masses as much as EDM that goes up and down the charts. i can understand why they weren't jumping up and down losing their shit.

The crowd will be from all over Europe/the world, again, drawn in by the fact this is happening outside ushuaia. That alone will already attract a broad mass of people more interested in something they hear on the radio on the way to work rather than the comparably slow / deep stuff these guys played.

Bland set, no build up to a crecendo (though the whole set isn't here- in which case they posted the wrong part). A night like this should take the audience on a progressive journey of (drugs and) music, peaking in the last 20 mins- leaving them spent of energy and buzzing. I'm old school, and i'm disappointed to say I would be very bored here- as most of the audience appear to be.

Wrong. This isn't a mainstream festival, it's a one of gig for one night with multiple. These types of nights should build up to a "crecendo" (crescendo) and peaking somewhere around the middle of the bill, such as Afrojack, and then bring it back down again to a less intense sound as people begin to wind down and end their night, like Pete Tong.
