This is undeniable. I have a great appreciation for Mick; however, Jim Root is notably different. He excels in the harmonic aspect. Not that he is better than Mick; both are monsters. But in every live performance, Jim always adds something unique, giving a fresh feel to the songs. That captivates me a lot.

You can tell the band still loves the fuck out of playing this song. Corey has stated it's his favorite of course, but the rest of the band still goes apeshit for it as well (Clown and Sid especially). For a song that's almost 20 years old, to still have that level of intensity and brutality playing it is impressive. You know that's when a band really loves what they do and they know they wrote a fucking awesome track. Disasterpiece is still, IMO, Slipknot's best work. Plus the energy of the newer guys is infectious as well. Jay murders the drums on this song (and it's a hard as shit song to play) and Pfaff has totally embraced his role as Tortilla Man and proved to be a worthy replacement for Fehn.

I had a thought since I've been seeing these Slipknot on a TV show showing off what they do and what music they make. I thought. Dude..could Metal make a comeback! Like Hip Hop and Pop and Rap are probably the biggest genres rn but I keep seeing these Metal and Rock shows on these Television Programs. I just think maybe Rock and Metal can make a comeback and be as popular as it was back in the 90's or 80's

One may believe this is difficult on the drums, now I'm not saying your wrong, but Joey and Jay have both said that vol.3 has the most intricate and difficult drumming. Think about that, slipknot has some of the most difficult drumming ever, and doesnt sound right without everything else either. The guitars, the drums, the percussion drums, the vocals, the backing vocals, the turntables, the sampling and keyboards, drop one piece, and it all comes falling down. This is why this 9 piece metal band is the best band to grace the planet ever since 1999. Unreal.

Evie Lewin it’s folded AND I think Corey’s ears look disproportional because his neck and head are pretty big lol. Probably has normal sized ears

You meant sad, right? To watch a talented band carry a talentless vocalist that can't even perform his own songs anymore.
