Foals' music never gets old, let's have a moment of silence for everyone who hasn't heard this performance yet! They are so good live! its as fresh as the day my music producer friend showed it to me, I had a hard time in high school but the music he showed me made it easier and gave me purpose, I wanna throw him some love while I'm here as we've been through a lot together, try searching Lonely Gimmick - Roll Me Over, it gives me Foals vibes and I'm honestly so impressed he made it, its one of those songs that make you happy when you hear it

These guys need an orchestra. This performance is amazing, but it’s so hard to get the grandeur of the studio version in a live performance, and all I can think about is how this amazing song deserves a choir of instruments and voices as expansive as the song itself.

He’s a great guy and a perfect fit, unfortunately they didn’t record the parts with him which would have been desirable surely, Yannis’ big ego took over instead so he could fill all vocal spaces on the album.
@christianevangelista5 жыл бұрын
MetalMonkey Leroy I wouldn’t say its Yannis’ ego, but more that Jeremy isn’t really part of the band so they obviously didn’t record with him. Jeremey fits in perfectly tho

Walter was amazing but Foals managed to find a great replacement. They will use Jeremy on tours for economic reasons mostly. Saw them live last Friday night and was astounded. They are the best live band touring presently. The new album has not a single bit of filler on it.

Now the sea eats the sky But they say it's a lie And there's no birds left to fly We'll hide out Oh, the weather is against us Houses on the ground And flowers upside down In our dreams In the eye of the storm In the land where you were born We try to make no sound We hide out 'Cause they watch us in sleep And the language that we speak And the secrets that we keep In our dreams In our dreams In our dreams In our dreams In our dreams In our dreams I said I'm so sorry To have kept you waiting around I wish I could've come up I could've shouted out loud But they got exits covered All the exits underground I wish I could figure it out But the world's upside down In a world upside down Oh, to dream this all off In the islands of the mind The places they can't find We'll hide out And the black sky came down And the cities underground The flowers upside down In our dreams Oh, to meet you again To pass you on the stairs To see you everywhere In my dreams 'Cause they watch us in sleep And the language that we speak And the secrets that we keep to ourselves In our dreams In our dreams In our dreams In our dreams In our dreams I said I'm so sorry To have kept you waiting around I wish I could've come up I could've shouted out loud But they got exits covered All the exits underground I wish I could figure it out But the world's upside down I said I'm so sorry That the world has fallen down I wish I could do something more I could shout it out loud They got exits covered All the exits underground I wish I could figure it out But the world's upside down In a world upside down That two days of your [?] while you're on summer I hope you found our horror to discover We should always scream [?] with each other That two days of your [?] while you're on summer I hope you found our horror to discover We should always scream [?] with each other That two days of your [?] while you're on summer
