well it helps when you're the bbc and therefore are way up the media hierarchy. studios, publicists and celebs want their immense reach and therefore grant bigger media outlets longer (and better) interviews. all other journalists don't even get the opportunity and have to work with 3-4 minutes, so just a fraction of this one. in that short of time, it's hard to establish that kind of rapport, cuz your clock's ticking and you may have been tasked to ask specific stuff. I know cuz I actually got to interview Dwayne and Emily for a German outlet. I have to admit, both are clearly having fun with each other, so it was fun even in just the 3 minutes I had. But it isn't always the case.
